The Twist to My Buffalo Wild Wings Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta Recipe

When I saw the viral Buffalo Wild Wings Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta recipe on Tik Tok I decided I had to make my own spin on it. I’ve made it using milk instead of heavy cream since my palate is more on the sensitive side.

The other twist I made was to omit the butter and use grated parmesan cheese which gave the sauce a slightly creamier texture and a lighter taste.

Ingredients

Chicken: This recipe is made with chicken breast, but you can use boneless and skinless chicken thighs as well. The meat gives this pasta recipe almost 40 grams of protein per serving.

Buffalo Wild Wings Parmesan Garlic Sauce: The parmesan garlic sauce will add a hint of tartness and a spicy kick.

Dairy Sauce: Milk, cream cheese and parmesan blend together to give this dish a pleasant creamy texture.

Pasta: You can make this recipe using any pasta variety, but it works best with penne, fusilli and shells.

Spices: Coating the chicken with a mix of all purpose seasoning, garlic powder, and paprika will further enhance the flavor profile of this tasty meal.

Tips and Ideas

  • For a more creamy consistency, use freshly grated parmesan. Bagged shredded cheese contains cellulose that prevents it from sticking to the package.

This repels moisture which makes the cheese melt poorly.

  • You can make this recipe on the stove top if you don’t have a slow cooker. Simply grill the chicken in a skillet pan, then make the sauce and combine it with the chicken.
  • The milk in this recipe can be substituted for heavy cream for a richer taste.

Where Can You Buy BWW Garlic Parmesan Sauce?

Buffalo Wild Wings Garlic Parmesan Sauce is readily available at most supermarket chains.

I most often buy it in bulk from Target or Walmart.

In case you can’t find it in any of your local groceries, you can get it from Amazon.

Of course, the best thing you could do is make this BWW garlic parmesan pasta with a batch of homemade garlic parmesan sauce.

Storage

Once the pasta is done, you can use the warm setting on your crock pot to keep it from getting cold.

It’s best to consume this pasta dish while it’s still hot, but if you’ve got any leftovers you can store them in the fridge for 3 days.

Also, by that time, the dairy sauce will have thickened so you’ll need to add some milk to make it less thick.
