Simple Cabbage Carrot Salad Recipe

This cabbage carrot salad is super easy to make and comes together in under ten minutes. It has a slightly tangy flavor and a delightful crunchy texture.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound cabbage
  • 6 oz carrots
  • 1/4 cup celery leaves
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • 4 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  • Slice the cabbage into thin strips, grate the carrots into large pieces, and finely chop the celery.
  • Put the sliced cabbage in a large bowl, season it with the salt, and crush it with your hands. Give the cabbage a taste and add more salt if needed.
  • Add the grated carrots and finely chopped celery and mix everything together.
  • Season the salad with some vinegar, mix, and pour the olive oil over the salad. Mix until the olive oil is evenly incorporated into the salad.
